Birds of Hong Kong
I live in a quiet village of Mui Wo surrounded by wetlands and hills. Plenty of places to find gorgeous birds. I get up early or go after work to my favourite spots to watch them. Each season is different and offers new species to observe. It gives me a lot of fun to take photos of them every day. The upseting thing is watchind destruction and mess everywhere. More and more plastic, rubbish and building sites. Soon nothing will be left for them.

Long Tailed Shrike
The two of them appeared in the moors around 16 August. If you don't see them at the top of some bush, you will definitely hear them when getting too close. The sound is really as their name 'shriky' and not very appealing. I think they warn me not to approach or warn other males not to get into their territory. I spotted two of them.
